The City of Mulberry Unified

This is my prayer, hope and ultimate goal !

The newly formed City of Mulberry, Georgia, located in Northeast Gwinnett County, represents an exciting opportunity for all of us to create a community that thrives—a place where people can live, work, and play comfortably. The journey to becoming a city began with S.B. 333, a measure that passed with 57% votes affirming that we wanted the city to proceed forward. While the close result shows there were differing opinions on this important issue, I believe that what matters most now is moving forward together.

As I’ve been out in our neighborhoods, meeting with residents and listening to your thoughts, questions, and concerns, I’ve been inspired by the passion and pride that Mulberry’s citizens hold for their community. Whether someone voted YES or NO for the city, I see a shared commitment among all of us—a commitment to making Mulberry the best it can be.

I understand that for some, the vote may have stirred up strong feelings. Change can be challenging, and the decision to incorporate wasn’t easy for many of our neighbors. But now, we have an opportunity to come together, set aside past differences, and focus on the work that lies ahead. We all have a stake in shaping Mulberry’s future, and it’s important that every voice is heard, respected, and valued.

In my conversations with you, I’ve heard the concerns and the hopes that residents have for our new city. Some of you want to ensure that our neighborhoods remain safe and vibrant, while others are interested in seeing Mulberry develop smartly, with infrastructure and services that keep pace with growth. I’ve also spoken to residents who have concerns about taxes and financial management—a responsibility I take seriously.

As your candidate for City Council in District 5, I am committed to ensuring that Mulberry starts strong, and that means bringing people together, bridging divides, and working collaboratively to build a city that reflects the best of all of us. My experience in business and my long-standing connection to our community give me the tools to listen, lead, and help make decisions, with your input, that will benefit everyone in Mulberry.

Together, we can create a Mulberry that lives up to its promise—a place where families, businesses, and individuals can flourish. Let’s put the past behind us and focus on a future that we can all build together. I’m excited to continue meeting with more of you and to be part of the effort to make Mulberry a great place for all.

Thank you for your trust and support, and I look forward to working together to make this vision a reality.
